Before installing this N-Gage assembly, delete the currently installed version (after saving the save from the games and NGP according to the instructions from "N-Gage_2.0_guide_&_FAQ.txt") and follow the instructions below:

If after the last formatting of the phone's memory at least some assembly or official version of N-Gage was installed at least once, then you need to delete the following files manually (when removing N-Gage from the application manager they are not deleted):

 from folder:
C:\sys\install\sisregistry\10202bе9\
 all files except
00000000.reg
00000000_0000.ctl

 from folder:
C:\private\10202bе9\
 files
20008BBB.txt
20008bb7.txt
20008BB3.txt
20001077.txt
20001079.сrе (and .txt, if exists)
2000107A.сrе (and .txt, if exists)
20008BB1.txt

Why is my assembly better than the official version and why should I do all this?

When installing N-Gage, several files are also installed to the central repository (C:/private/10202bе9/). Files can be written to cenrep by .sis file with the type of SP package (visible and deletable in the manager) or PU (not visible and do not deletable in the manager). So, the guys from Nokia decided to make a package of the second type for not understandable reasons. In this particular case, the problem is that each installation of a package of this type is registered by the system in the folder C:/sys/install/ and this eats every 500 kB each time, because in N-Gage, for whatever reason, all the files that will be installed In the central repository, are installed through 3 components, and not one, for no apparent reason. Simply installing on top or removing the N-Gage application 4 times, we will lose 2 MB of device memory, which without full access to the file system without the format can not be returned.

If the above files are not removed, then this assembly will not install, because all the files that are written to the central repository are assembled into one component (instead of 3) with the type of SP installation (which will be installed only if there are no files in the destination folder with same names as in package), so that you can completely remove N-Gage from the Application Manager.

After installation, you can return the save files for games and NGP's back and play.
